With over 30 years of distinguished service in town planning and development management, TPr. Haji Hamzah bin Ab. Halim has dedicated his career to shaping sustainable growth and responsible urban development. As the former Director of the Department of Town Planning & Landscape, Majlis Perbandaran Kulim Kedah (MPKK), he played a key role in planning policy, development control and the implementation of strategic initiatives that continue to support the region’s long-term development.

Today, as the Founder and Principal Consultant of Hamzah Planning Consultant Sdn. Bhd., he leads the firm with a vision of delivering practical, innovative and value-driven planning solutions. His extensive knowledge of planning legislation, statutory procedures and regulatory frameworks enables clients to navigate complex development processes with confidence while ensuring projects are strategically planned, compliant and sustainable.
